My Lil Cruiser!

Dylan has been a lot more mobile this month....here I am trying to catch him in action!

 Getting tired of standing...taking a break. 

 Loves his toy bus. He knows how to press on the buttons to make it play his favorite song...The wheels on the bus go round and round!

His new toy bowl (aka my salad bowl). He likes to put his wooden toy animals in and out.

Waaay Past Bedtime!

I tried to put Dylan to sleep yesterday, but he'd rather practice standing up in his crib!! 

Dylan's on the Move!!

9 Months!

I can't believe Dylan's 9 months already! It just felt like yesterday I was blogging his 8 month birthday. He is due for another checkup...I'm curious to see how much he weighs! While we were waiting for the pediatrician, we let him read a book.

HEIGHT: 27.75 INCHES ( 25 %)

WEIGHT: 17 LBS (10%)

HEAD CIRCUMFERENCE: 44.25 CM (25%)

His head is finally becoming more proportionally to the rest of his body, but he's still a skinny guy.  My mom and Alex thought he was at least 20 lbs because he just feels much heavier!

Things I've noticed this month:

** He has 2 more teeth coming in at the top, so he's drooling more than ever! And it's hard to brush his teeth because he'll bite my finger off! I need to get a soft toothbrush so I can get the behind the teeth! 

** Starting to crawl...we're gonna need to babyproof our house soon! He's starting to grab onto things and pull himself up. I wish our couch was lower so he could balance on that when he stands. He mostly tiptoes when on his feet.

** Says ga ga ga now

** His stranger anxiety is more prominent. When he's scared, he seems to want me over Alex. He's a Mama's boy! 

** Bangs on his toys to make sounds

He doesn't want to sit still to take pictures at all. So I had to put him in his chair so I could try to get some profile shots. 

Loves using blankets for his teething comfort. Not fond of the hard toys.

to see what's down on the floor. He does that when he's on the changing table and on the bed. I'm always worried he'll fall off the edge if I don't catch him in time. He's quick!

8 MONTHS!

 Dylan is now 8 months old and it's getting much harder to take good pictures of him because he's constantly moving all over the place! He loves rolling around onto his belly! We finally got around to assembling his crib. Before he just slept in the pack n play, but now he gets his own bed! Yay! 

Things I've noticed this month:

** He has 2 top center teeth, and a 3rd tooth on the bottom! 

** Eats puffs and yogurt melts. He prefers soft finger foods instead of the watery baby food. He doesn't know how to put the food in his mouth yet, but is starting to figure out how to hold his own sippy cup!

** Splashes and plays more in the water during bath time

** Sleeps 8-10 hours throughout the night

** Loves story time and likes to turn the pages of the book (He especially likes Pantone Colors and Touch and Feel Farm)

** Babbles and starting to make sounds like Ba Ba Ba

** Claps his hands

** Pulls himself to sit up from his tummy

** Likes to touch people's faces and pull your glasses off

  Every time he's on his tummy, he always raises his head way up high! 

  This month, Lolo and Lola came to visit us! Here's Lola playing with Dylan!

While Alex's parents were in town, we went down to San Diego for a family friend's wedding. It was fun getting Dylan dressed up! Alex even got a new suit! My two handsome boys!

 Here's Dylan in his 1st Fourth of July outfit! Too bad we didn't have time to go see fireworks!

We all went out to Oto Oto Japanese Restaurant in celebration of my birthday!

My turn to go swimming with Dylan! I think he's a little scared of the water because he holds his hands tightly together like he's praying for his life! You can see this in almost every picture! It's not until he gets warmed up that he starts to relax. It's funny to watch though!
