Peyton is 6 weeks! Here's his stats:

LENGTH- 22 in (50%)
WEIGHT- 11 lbs, 9.5 oz (50%)
HEAD CIRCUMFERENCE- 38 cm (50%)

He was slightly fussy after his shots...but he managed to sneak a smile!

The weather is finally cooling down. I took Dylan out for a morning stroll. He's all bundled up!

Maternity and Newborn Pics

One of my friends took some maternity pictures for us at a park and a hiking trail in Tustin. The weather wasn't too great, but he was still able to get some great shots!

After Peyton was born, he had his own little photoshoot at 9 days old!

Welcome to the world, PEYTON!

Happy 1 Month!

Wow, that was fast! Peyton is one month already! He's growing exponentially...about 1 pound a week! He's a whopping 10 lbs. 5.5 oz and already growing out of his newborn clothes.  At this rate, he might outgrow his big brother soon!

Alex's parents have been staying with us for a month to help out with the new baby.  I think Lola has developed a special bond with Peyton. We are so lucky to have them here!

Just Born!

It's that time again...I enjoyed taking monthly pictures of Dylan, so I'm going to do it for Peyton as well! This one starts off with "JUST BORN!" Okay, I'm a few days late... =)

Introducing...

Welcome to the world Peyton Kazin Mogul! Almost 2 years after Dylan was born, we are proud to introduce a new addition to the family!

Born on August 18, 2013 at 450 am at Huntington Memorial Hospital
Weight: 6 lbs 6.5 oz
Height: 20 in
Head circumference: 34 cm

The second time around was much easier! I was in active labor for only 10 minutes (compared to the 1.5 hours with Dylan). Everything went smoothly and fairly quickly. Peyton was able to room in with us afterwards. I was slightly worried how Dylan would react to the new baby...at first he wasn't really interested and was even shy, but after a few days, he warmed up and kept saying, "BABY!"

 Family of Four!

Like many babies, Peyton had high levels of bilirubin and needed phototherapy. Lying in an incubator, he was exposed to a special UV light from the top and bottom to decrease the levels. He didn't like it very much. He also had to wear a patch to cover his eyes from the bright lights.

Peyton was lucky to have some visitors at the hospital!
 Dr. Park (my OB)
 Grandparents
 Olivia and Jerome
 Great grandma and Aunt Betty
Prashant and Preeti
After 2 days in the hospital, Peyton was ready to go home!!

Just for fun...see the resemblence?
