THE NEXT ROGER

Here I am, blogging away again. Today was quite chilly, so we ended up staying home. So while we waited for Daddy to come home from work, I took more pictures of Dylan. We received this cute tennis onesie from Angelo and Gloria (thank you!) and I couldn't wait to have Dylan try it on. It's still a little big, but it works. So now he can start practicing to be the next Roger Federer. Or maybe even Djokovic, since he's number 1 now. (I can hear Alex crying in the background. Sob sob.)

Can't quite hold the ball yet.

DYLAN'S VISITORS!

We were so blessed to have so many people visit baby Dylan since his birth. There have been more people come visit, but I'm sorry if I didn't get a chance to take a snapshot of you!!
I'll keep adding to this as more people come see him. Enjoy!

3 LITTLE MONKEYS

DYLAN -- 3 MONTHS
KARINA -- 5 MONTHS
ARIANA -- 2 YRS OLD
We headed down to San Diego this past weekend for the Superbowl. While the boys were glued to the TV, I decided to play with my camera and take pics of the kids!!

Ariana being so silly. She had her entire matching purple outfit on with a hat one minute...the next minute, she leaves the room and comes back wearing nothing but her birthday suit and starts dancing like a wild child! It was hilarious! She is such a ham!

 Best buds!

I noticed that Karina is giving us the middle finger! I wonder who taught her how to do that! HAHA!

  Having fun!

Thanks for sharing a wonderful day!

恭禧發財 = Happy Chinese New Year!

I'm just on a roll with the pictures. Today I decided to use the Snugseat (comparable to the Bumbo) for the first time. I think Dylan enjoyed a different perspective of looking at objects. Most of the time, he can only lie on his back. He had fun playing with grandma.

Today also happens to be Chinese New Year! Dylan is so lucky to receive the red envelopes from his family!

Gong Hey Fat Choy!

I decided to be a little creative and try to make a spaceship out of his envelopes/snugseat and make a short story.

Are you ready for takeoff?

Okay, I'm ready!

3, 2, 1....

and we're off!

Wait a minute...how come I'm still on the floor?

Oh well.  My spaceship is broken.

I'll just use this money to buy myself a real spaceship! =)

HE'S READY FOR THE SNOW!

I forgot to add these pictures to the last blog...so here's more!
I bought a cute trapper hat a little while ago but it didn't fit him at the time. Just checking to see if he grew into it yet. Still a little big, but at least it doesn't cover his entire face now. Also I'm trying out a different camera lens so these pictures seem more clearer, but it is only able to focus mainly on one object.

Tonight he seemed extremely exhausted, maybe from all that posing he did this weekend. Usually when we change his diaper in between the feeding, he wakes up. This time, he just kept sleeping. I've never seen that happen before. At least it was an easy and fast change.

MR. McCRANKY

I have been so tired lately that I haven't been posting many pictures, but I finally picked up my camera and started shooting this past Saturday morning. I put Dylan in this funny onesie that a friend got us before he outgrows it. I wish he didn't grow so fast, so that he could wear some of the cute outfits more than once! Although Dylan isn't really a cranky baby (which I am so thankful for), I still wanted to share these pictures!!

My amateur photo background

His mad dog look..getting slightly cranky.

He's probably thinking, "Mom, stop taking so many photos!"

Tired Daddy and baby..after his mini-photo shoot

Later that night, we ate at a Chinese restaurant in celebration of Chinese New Year. I didn't take a picture of the place, but it was packed. My chair was squished behind another person's chair. Like sardines in a can. Even though Dylan normally sleeps during this time, he was wide awake during the entire dinner! Dylan was so content at looking at all the people around him. My mom and I kept handing Dylan off to each other as we ate our dinner. He was such a happy baby!

Tummy time is Dylan's least favorite thing to do. He can only withstand 2 minutes of it and then starts crying. So I tried using the boppy to assist him and surprisingly was able to lie on his belly for over 10 minutes! I'm so proud of him. So is Daddy.

During these couple of weeks, Dylan has finally noticed his hands! He loves to put them in his mouth, so he is drooling more. He hasn't found his thumb just yet, but I'm sure he will soon. He's such a smart cookie!

Dylan has a lot of different expressions. One in particular that stood out this month has been his grimace. Once I see him sad, I just want to melt and comfort him in my arms. The only time when he gets a little cranky is when he's hungry or doing tummy time. I should have photographed him in his cranky onesie here...oh well.

Doesn't this face make you feel so sorry for the guy?? Don't worry, it was only for a second. Once I fed him, he was all smiles again!
