Happy Halloween!!

I haven't celebrated or dressed up for Halloween in years, but ever since Dylan was born, I'm so into doing everything for him. For Dylan's first Halloween, I dressed him up as a dalmation puppy! He looked so adorable in the costume, but I think he probably felt more tortured...In the beginning, he wouldn't even smile...he was a sad, sad puppy. But there were a few instances, we were able to capture his contagious smile! Our first stop was a Halloween celebration in downtown Monrovia. They had a few booths set up for face painting, photos, story time, and a costume contest.

After that, we headed to a small pumpkin patch to take more pictures.
 Sad puppy
He looks like he's praying for this to be over!
I don't know what Alex did, but finally got Dylan to laugh.

Wag your tail, Dylan!

We then headed to the mall to do some trick or treating. There were so many kids there.
Some of the stores had workers dress up and pass out candy!
Only after a few stores, Dylan was so tired and fell asleep! It was nice because Alex and I had a nice quiet dinner at the Cheesecake Factory afterwards!
Happy Halloween!!

Our Last Day...

Our trip to Chicago (well, today was the only day we were actually in the city) is sadly coming to an end...I must admit...traveling with kids to the city was kind of stressful, but we did it and I'm glad we went! We tried out a new restaurant called Bandera on Michigan Avenue. They are known for the chicken...it was yummy! Then we headed to Millennium Park!

Dylan's first time at the Bean!
Aww...such a happy couple! (minus the kids)

 Brotherly love
 All the Boys
 All the Gals
 One last kiss...

Thank you to Mom and Dad for hanging out with us and the grandkids!
Thank you soo much to Albert and Tami for letting us stay at your house for almost 2 weeks! We had alot of fun and can't wait for you to come visit us in California! We will miss you all!

How Big is Dylan??

Dylan's beginning to understand us more...here's his new trick!

Chicago Part Deux

We went to Blackberry Farm in Aurora, IL where we got to experience a miniature train ride (which went pretty fast), visited different museums, and rode the carousel. I was hoping for more pumpkins, but there weren't that many. But we still had a great time!

 Hocus pocus!
 A farmer and his wife.
The fall colors are beautiful! Don't see this in California!
 WHEEEE...train ride

The next day, we took a stroll in the neighborhood. The weather was absolutely perfect!
Trying out all of his cousins' toys!
Can you believe this is a backyard?

 Loving this wagon!

XOXO from Alexis!

We even had a little bonfire...to the right! Alex's friends drove over an hour to see him! Such nice friends!

Nice group shot! Everyone is looking in the camera! That's a rarity!
Since both kids outgrew a Bulls outfit, we had Dylan try it on!
 Looking good!
 What a natural!

 Score!!
 The future Derrick Rose...haha.
